Usually when I go to see plays I brace myself because I never know what I am going to get. So like no other time, I braced myself as a scurried up the two flights of stairs to reach the stage of The Drilling Company to see my frat brother, Kate McConnell‘s play. But to my surprise, just as Cardenio changed the face of Don Quixote, did he change my caution to joy and reverie. His camedic timing was impeccable. The literary wherewithall was amazing. It made it cool to be a writer who loves passion and a greatly written story.

I truely appreciate Kate and Sqeaky Bicycle for bringing to life one of my favorite literary characters and telling his story in such a heartwrenching way. My heart was filled and inspired by such a well written script and a vibrant cast.

Keep writing and producing Kate! As long as my schedule allows, I will always be sitting behind you in the audience.
