…Forceful and feisty
Creating magic where there was dainty
Always ripe for connection
Producing poetry in our motion
Directing my path and direction
Although your mind was in constant deflectionYour hands
They spoke a language
You are still afraid to
A future reality
Never tainted by
what your mind
let seep through
If only the nerve endings were strong enough
To eliminate the hypothetical that ruined us… -
Bluebird , 3/30

I see you in the mountains
Heavily hued being
Singing
Chur-lee, Chur-lee
Boasting with your
Saturated wings and plumage
But bae
Your blues aren’t as sweet as mineI perch
With fire alarm heart
Beating and pounding
Faster and faster as anxiety
Continues looming
Traveling down my breast
And lingering on my chest… -
Sept 30 in 30 is complete
Sunday, September 30th, 2012
It took: 2 prompts, 6 guys, 2 fights with my mother, 1 heavenly father, 1 fallen angel, 30 days observing NYC subways, 1 historic day, 1 challenging concept, 3 future propositions, and 1 forgetful parent moment (“dissent of a college grad” will b tweeted tonight) to lead to 33 poems in 30 days!

Russian Roulette/May Day… 30 in 30 Update
Tuesday, September 11th, 2012
I am finally caught up for September 30 in 30! I am trying to decide which poem to write for today. I think I am gonna go with May Day, since today is September 11th! It would also give an update to 4 poems in My Journey through Poetry that I wrote about that tragic and horrific day. RIP all those that lost their lives on that day. Special RIP to Mr. Felt; prayers go out to your family and all the others who were on that plane that day.
Blessed and Humbly Patriotic,
