As I tweeted yesterday, I went and performed at Montclair State University at a Health and Creativity workshop with Alpha Kappa Psi Business Co-ed Fraternity and met up with a Montclair poetry group, AVENGERS. I had so much fun and was inspired by all the poets eager to share their hearts and spirits with the audience. I performed a few from my notebook (“rest” and “viajes de los x-novios”)- I bet you didn’t know I spoke spanish- and two from My Journey through Poetry, “Virgin Soul” and “Hold Me”.

I hope to join the AVENGERS for more events. They are a dynamic group of poets that I am honored to perform with!
