Phenomenal Professionals

So yesterday, I went to a panel discussion about Phenomenal Professionals in Media, Entertainment and Technology at Montclair University. I was so inspired by Scott McKenzie aka “Great Scott.” It was nice to see the Island mentality and work ethnic pay off since in America it is very much devalued and look upon as negative just because it isn’t what America was founded on? Omg.. that’s another topic; not the place for that rant. I was also inspired by Michelle Lee, who talked about Advertising and Media presence. Her demeanor was so inviting; her hope despite being an anomaly touched me greatly. I was also touched by Judith Formalarie, who was once a career counselor and advocates for school counselors and people with autism. It is nice to know that there are genuine people out there in both the fields that I am trying to enter. Google these people; trust me it is worth it! This is not my last post about the panel discussion. Keep checking back!
I also performed as the closing act of the night! The room loved it… so look out for my follow up post about it. I hope to include some video!
All of this has inspired an idea for both a book, “Ode to my Pen Makers”, and a book collection, “Ode to my Inkwell/ Inkdwellers.” Both are working titles. Lemme know what you think?
