Hey Si.Nik’ers,
I am back after my hiatus… It was a good rest!

So after attending an Afro-Latin@ conference here in NYC, I was made aware of another poet with my name.. Azúcar Morena. After attempting to contact her and find more about her and her not responding, I decided to not to continue to try and contact her or cause beef. Although the name has a lot of significance for me, I will shorten it to just Azúcar.

Azúcar seems to fit me better anyway. Especially since I am Afro-Cuban and I love Celia Cruz.
